well actually i have no life except for hooters runs and the once a month autoX! so im always around! the only reason im quiet is because i said what i had to say/ask and was just waiting for something interesting to happen! so i guess now that erich is here things might pick up! and while i got your guys attention, what kinda gas milage do you v8 guys get, easy driving versus heavy driving! last night when i filled up i was at 250 miles on 12.7 gallons, about 19.5 miles per gallon! i think that sucks for a 4 cylinder! maybe my oxygen sensor is bad?Originally posted by baglock1

That does suck for a 4 banger, man. My Camry gets better mileage than that, and my foot doesn't come off the floor with it. As for the stang:
Easy driving I get 6 Highway and 4 City
Hard driving I get 1 Highway and 0 City

Is there someway I can set my Sig to come on with every post? For a couple weeks it'll automatically do it, then it'll turn off for a couple of weeks. I don't get it.

What's really funny is that I wasn't joking.
Seriously, that's what it feels like. I look at my fuel gauge and it's on full, 5 mins later it's down a quarter of a tank, and that's when I drive it EASY. Or at least it seems that way. Realistically, I'm getting prolly 18 Highway and 16 City, but I've never really wanted to figure it out.

It could be an O2 sensor. I haven't really calculated mine but it's somewhere between 14-18 city and about 16-20 highway (I really haul @ss on the highway, so mileage isn't that great). When I'm really getting on it in the city, it's probably somewhere around 7-9.

Yeah, driving it easy is really pretty rare for me. The only time I'm truely "easy" is when a cop around. Otherwise I have some fun. Not enough to get arrested, but enough to drain gas quick.
how hard is it to change an o2 sensor?? is it something that i could attempt or should i have someone that knows what they are doing look at it? damnit this is when i wish i knew how to work on cars! hey erich, you want to go and take shop with me at BCC next semester!? i think i might do it anyway for work!

They have shop at BCC? When? Over a summer semester, or a fall semester? Sounds cool, though. I really want to get into this mechanics stuff. Then maybe I can be as cool as Baglock.
