Wow, good thing I didn't wash mine like I was going to. I decided to mow the lawn instead :( . But I did finish up my intake plaque and a couple of other little things :nice:

Dude, maybe if you wash yours, it'll counteract the washing of mine, and it won't rain. Hey, it just might work. :shrug: :cool: :D

Just a little cop info for the orlando guys. I guess the cops around here are now using brand new chevy extended cab pickup trucks. I was on CR427 and the guy hit the old wail and sirens for about 4 seconds right in back of me in the inside lane. I don't really understand why he did it, but the guy decides to pass me right after not giving me any look or anything as he went by

and yea, my tranny is on its way to the graveyard. my synchro's are all goin weirdo. sometimes 3rd will be fine, sometimes it wont...sometimes it'll be 4th...this is going to be great. any word from jake on the rebuild, 1bad?:cheers:

Well it looks like all I did today was give my car a tune up...looks like the problem may be a clogged cat...I knew I should've took it to the vet. Tomorrow I'll spray the bolts down and take it apart and soak myself with exhaust fumes...well...more than normal.

Ha.....mine doesn't like to stay in 3rd, it tends to jump out, nor does it like to downshift to 3rd until i come to a dead stop. I've asked him but he said he can't really say because he has to look at it first and see what all is needed......

I need an AUTOMATIC!!! :(

What clutch have you been using and how many miles did the previous one last?

I had a brand new clutch in when i got my cable it already has about 3k miles on it (yes I drive quite a bit)....something inside was binding.....so I was going to work on it today but felt like sleeping in. Maybe tomorrow i'll do a little something. All I do know is that my throwout bearing (which of course was replaced as well) was all messed up! :(

As I said in teh last post "I need an AUTOMATIC" :hail2:

I will be receiving my new AOD from Performance Automatic next week. So that means that I will have my old AOD laying around. I had planned on tearing it down and rebuilding it later on this year. The trans itself is still very driveable when I am not getting into the boost. I went down to Universal last night and drove it around like there was no problem. If anybody wants the thing I would be interested in making a deal.
