Are you and your dad both planning on getting rid of the stangs for Hondas   ????

By the way, that is a damn good deal for your dads car.

Yep, it's true....I think he wants a Jeep again or a truck because he's fixing to start another job....and he's tired of having no a/c and wants slightly better gas mileage. Though that one is getting roughtly 14-15 mpg (city/highway)......I might keep mine, only if the stupid thing quits pissing me off, if you know what I mean. :(

So your dad does actually use that stang as his daily driver? With the kind of HP that thing is putting out and that being a C4 in back of it I would love to get that kind of mileage. With my convertible I get 12mpg city and 16mpg highway. I have it set a little rich on the fuel side till I get it dyno tuned but your dad has about double my power.

I have been there myself wanting to get rid of my stang. The hatchback had been pissing me off ever since I put my clutch and adjustable quadrant in. At that time I was constantly fighting with clutch adjustment and the thing started to make a clicking noise everytime I would push in the clutch. Friends started to offer to buy the car from me. I knew I could make a profit selling it, it would be one less insurance payment, and I could put that money straight towards buying a new trans for the vert at that time. Well I turned them down. I ended up finally getting the clutch adjustment to stay where I like it and just 2 weeks ago that annoying clicking noise went away. I came real close to selling it but I am glad I did not. The thing may leak oil and needs a new paint job but its not everyday that you can find a near stock 5.0 that can pull on 98 Cobra with 4.10s :D

.....before it got rebuilt it put 603 to the ground in 99 degree weather...it's best time on the tires in the pic (L60 McCreary's) was 10.40@132 with 14 pounds of boost due to slipping belt....which was also before the rebuild. Now it has lower compression than before (9:1 to 8.25:1) and as said built by Lamotta. It hasn't been dynoed or raced since rebuild. Yes it's is daily driver since it's the only car he owns at the moment besides the Hayabusa, which doesn't get driven on rainy days. Anyway that's that.....:flag:

^---just thought i'd mention to you that your car is a freak...how the hell, with just those mods?  :hail2:

HAHA.......thanks man. Yep, that's all I have done right now. Granted it was very hot and humid out that night and that's when my clutch started acting up (Slicks didn't help) I can't complain. Alot of people don't believe my times for my mods but it's all good I guess. My best on Aqua Flow GTX's was a [email protected] but that was in nice weather none the less (when you were lucky to get 3 runs in 1 night) I seen your car at the track friday night, but I didn't know what you looked like so I didn't stop. hehe

Dude, that really sucks. Really, really sucks. Man, is everyone having a bad week? :(

Dude, might a make a suggestion? Go try to find a job at calling centers (like me). I'm going to an interview tomorrow for a job at a calling cetner that pays $14 an hour! It seems like in theory it would be easy work. you might want to look into it.
