Melbourne area stangs

Anyone know what happened to the CFR Solo 2 website? I went to CFRSolo2.com and all I get is an "It's Gone" message from EZ Publishing. I've tried it different times today and nothing......

BTW, how did the Martin SCC event go today?

Dunno about the website, I couldn't get to it either. Strange, because it worked just fine about a week ago.

Tooler and I went to the MSSC event today. It was a pretty cool course. It was very different from anything we had in the SCCA events. The course went back over itself and you essentially made about 1 3/4 laps. It took about 65-70 seconds to complete it. Their classing system was different as well, we had to drive in the GT prepared (GTP) class.

I took a second with a time of 66.4 and Tooler got a 4th I believe (correct me if I am wrong Tim) with a 69.X run. First place was a guy with a late model SS Camaro that was very fast with a 65.2 second run. Overall it was a small turnout, about 60 entrants, but we had 7 competitors in the GTP class. There were quite a few Corvettes there in A stock and A prepared.

They are going to have an event in Gainesville on the 12th of April that will be using a road course and no cones. Tim is going to that one and I may try to make it too.

I had the day off of work today for a Street Painting Festival charity thing at Suntree Elementary. It was my first time ever doing this, and my first time ever using pastels on a sidewalk.
Turns out I got a nice little ribbon for being a runner up. :nice:
Not bad for being my first time. Some people that have been doing this for years and years didn't get ribbons, so I'm pleased.:D

Here are a couple pictures of what I did...

Wow, looks pretty sweet, dude. :nice:

Damn, you guys have a huge thread going here. Anyway, I just moved back up into the area. I used to live in Melbourne when I went to FIT, then I moved to Lauderdale when I worked at Motorola, now I'm back working at Harris. What goes on up here? Any regular club meets? Check out my car: http://lxsteed.stangnet.com

Welcome, man. Yeah, Longdoggers on A1A on Thursday will be our next meeting. :nice:

Awesome drawing Dave!!! :nice:

Bag, what's the status on your car?

Insurance is coughing up about $2300 for it. But since there's still a lien on the car, it has to be issued as a two-party check (to me and the bank). Soooooo, I need to get it repaired, show the bank it's fixed and then I'll get the cash... supposedly. I'm going to the bank tomorrow to find out exactly what they want to see.

Dan, what's the status on your car?

Sounds good, LongDoggers at 7 PM? I'll try my best to be out there. Is this a club, or just a gathering of stangs from the area? How many usually attend?

You betcha it's a club. :D Muscle Mustangs of Brevard.
There's atleast about 10-13 of us who attend regularly...am I counting right, guys?

So I was supposed to go on a date tonight with this girl from where I work...called her twice, once this morning and once at about 6ish.. she hasn't called back.. so uh... yeah. :(
I guess she's too busy re-arranging her refrigerator or washing her hair...

Thanks for the compliments on the picture Erich and Dave.

Damn, do I need to wear a name tag at the next meet?
One of those " Hello. My name is.." stickers maybe..?

Thanks J O S H. ;)

Here is a version I just did in PhotoShop. This is what I would have liked it to look like assuming I had more time... and a lot more black and white pastels. :nice:
