Melbourne area stangs

Erich..I hear ya there man! Farthest I got on my last car was replacing my starter. This car, I've been too afraid to mess with it as of yet because I'm unfamiliar with it...I knew my old Chevy like the back of my hand. Funny part is..I put in a starter for one friend and an intake for another last week for money...but I'm too afraid to work on MY OWN car. ;)
The ONLY thing I like about *** cars: Starter is on the top! You can get to it leaning over the engine bay!

Well, I went to the mall last night to use a gift card my brother gave me for Christmas for American Eagle. Spent about 15 minutes looking, then this really cute girl asked me if I needed help. Told her I guess, but didn't really know what I was looking for, was just going to get something that I thought I liked. So she walks around with me and grabs about 9 shirts and has me try them on for her. She even had the other girl working come and look too. :D I got 2 shirts and spent about $10 more than the card was for. Oh well.
I was also on a mission to get a new pair of shoes, since the ones I have are now being used at work. I went EVERYWHERE in that stupid mall and couldn't find anything.
The shoes I did find, no one had in a size that fit me.
Like everyones customers are circus midgets or something... :nonono:

...so I went to Best Buy and spent $45 there instead. :nice:

I'll just stick to my trusty sandals. :spot:

You go into get some little stuff and you leave spending a lot more than you wanted. You probably dissapointed them by buying only two of the nine shirts though, its good to see that you stood strong :D

The course today was a really good one for Mustangs, fast and fun! There were only 5 entrants in ESP today so we missed you local Mustang guys. They even had a Lincoln Mk. VIII running in ESP today.

Interesting stuff..

I was watching National Geographic Explorer a few minutes ago, a show called Secret Weapons. Basically it was about how the government/military is looking to nature to better our weapons and defensive/offensive technology. It was pretty interesting, for example: Taking DNA from a spider who makes the strongest silk, and splicing ( I think that's the right word ) it with that of a goat, so that when you go to milk the adult goat, the milk contains the proteins/minerals/etc.. of the spider silk. They then put the milk in a "strainer" of sorts and it filters out the silk, then that goes into another machine and voila, man made spider silk, and a hell of a lot of it. They are using it for a new light weight, and highly flexible body armor of the full body type. Am I the only one who thinks that something like the Stormtrooper armor from Star Wars is a good idea for a place to start?

Another part that I found interesting was that they were comming up with new ways to make muscles for small robots like ones they'd use for search and rescue operations. Scientists are doing research on specific polymers for muscles to be used on these robots. Electric currents are sent to the polymers, making them contract according to the amount of electricity being sent through it. They said that the polymer "muscle" is 10 times stronger than any biological muscle.

20 years from now, they'll be using that technology on cyborg troopers that rival the strength of SuperMan.

Crazy stuff... but pretty awesome too.
