Melbourne area stangs

Or break your neck when they try to rip you out of the car. Gotta love jackass cops who pull you over cause your car is faster than theirs, or they're having glazed doughnut withdraws. :nonono:

Anyway...atleast you didn't get a ticket or anything more than a hassle out of it. If you think the cops are bad, taking something to court is 100 times more of a joke than them.:bs:

Well I just added another stang to the stall. We now have four at my house, my two 5.0s, my 96 cobra, and my dads 66 GT. I just drove it home tonight, I bought the 96 Mystic cobra from the autotrader link I posted, I got it for $12k which is a damn good deal. Future plans for the 96 are in the sig, I just can't stand a quiet mustang, even with dumps this car is too quiet for me. My 91 will be sold pretty soon though, the car served its purpose well. It never gave me problem and suprised many of cars for having such little done to it.

You did buy the mystic! Sweet! I've been extremely tempted to do a mystic-esque paint job on the 95. Not a true mystic mind you, but one of BASF's new compounds. Maybe that red / blue color they've developed...

Anyways, congrats on the buy!

Well guys, today was one hell of an awsome day.

Went to work, as usual...and of course, the one day I have to work on vehicles outside, it starts to rain. So we decide to move acouple cars into the mechanics area and work on them in there.

So I pull the next cop cruiser in, get out...and see a nice shiny red mustang sitting a couple cars over. I walk over to take a look, and holy ****...it's an '03 SVT Cobra R!!! At first, I thought it was one of the mechanics car, with the body kit and wing, etc...but nope, original window sticker and all! ? :jaw:

I asked one of the salesman walking around if I could open it up and take a look...so he walks over, opens up the door...grabs the key, pops the hood...and starts it up!!!:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

So we b.s'd for alittle while about the car, all the while I tried to remove my jaw from the floor...then he got a call and had to run.

But I got my camera in my car now, and will be taking pictures of it tomorrow. I'll be sure to post!

Sorry, I had to tell someone!:flag: :nice: :worship: :spot:

It was an R?? Wow... I had one of the '03 SVT Cobra's following me a few weeks ago.....I thought something looked funny about the front fascia but I couldn't put my finger on it until it timidly passed me and I saw the SVT on the back bumper. Hot chick driving it too. :D That, right there, is heaven.

Well y'all, I bought a daily driver today. One of my teachers is moving to PA and she sold me her '91 Eagle Talon AWD TSi for $500. Pics will be up soon. It isn't in perfect shape, the turbo has been busted for quite some time and apparently it's going to need some tranny work (clutch?) done soon, and the A/C needs to be charged, but otherwise, it's fine.

BTW: Eric, if you know of any turbo's for the above car that you can get your hands on, I might be interested.

Were you up at Don Reid. They are the only dealer that I know of around here that still has not sold their 00 Cobra R.

Yep! We've been up there for the last couple days tinting some police vehicles (vans, explorers, ect.).

They're wanting 75k for it...which, for a Cobra R...doesn't sound all that insane? Not that I have anywhere near that kind of money to even think of buying it :jester: :flag: :nice:

Yes I would say thats insane since the hype and newness of them has died down alot. By the way, I'm passing on the meet tonight. Had to work late, and I'm just to tired to go out tonight. I'll catch up with you guys another time.

Brian

Alright, so I got to drive the Talon finally. Handles great and feels like it has a lot of pep for a little four-banger (of course, it's 16v and dohc). But the shifter is horrible! :nonono: That's gotta be changed. Headliner needs to be fixed (since it's haning down on my head) and looks like a few other minor problems need to be handled as well. But for 186K miles, it's pretty solid.

Happen to remember passing a red hatchback? I passed a Mystic tonight (Might have been on Longwood/Lk Mary rd, cant remember... :D ). Dont see too many around here very often.
