HAHA....I ran my best time against your boy. He was the only car I lost to last night and I'm so glad it was another stang! LOL

That was my radar look...always looking for the girls and the cars. I left before 10 so I proably missed your run if you ran or I was walking the lanes looking at cars. We went to the K-Mart parking lot after that on the island cause one of us is in a car club that hangs there. Kept my eyes out for a red coupe
BUT, I did see a blue stang with a drag style wing on it there.
Oh yeah, too all, the guy that goes down to Palm Bay with the 302 powered 240Z, he was there at the track too, he was working with some guys and this fast sedan with like a gold/orangish paint job.
Yo baglock, that was you I saw on base today, right? Did you take off your blackouts? I keep forgeting that the stupid gas station on base is closed. And of course, the other one all the way out by the runway doesn't have pay at the pump. Lost my business today.

Yep. I only put the blackouts on when I won't be on base for a while. With all the SP augmentee's around I was tired of them giving me hell about them. Couple of times they made me pull over and take them off. If it was a regular SP, I wouldn't care so much, but the augmentee's act like they know something when they don't know sh1t.
Really ticks me off. And I hear ya about the stations. I've been keeping my foot out of it until the regular one re-opens.
I would have turned around to say hi, but a guy was following me to my place to drop off a clothes dryer I had bought from him. There went my subframe money...
Why would anyone care if you have blackouts on your car? Are they not allowed on base for some stupid reason? Also, what's a augmentee?
The guy said that Florida just passed a law banning them because they limit the light emitted (which is true). I always drove around with my brights on and never had any problems. No one ever flashed me either.
Oh well.And the augmentee's are the guys they quick-trained to be cops during the higher state of alert.

His car looks really nice with them on too. However, a buddy of mine stopped a Highway Patrol at 7-11 and asked him about it. He said that it's one of those things that they'll pull you for if they need a reason, or write you up for if you're being a d1ckhead about it.
Since we've lowered our alert level, I'm getting ready to put mine back on.
hey guys i got some bad news...i might be getting rid of the stang
but in return i might be getting a 95 F150 XLT with an extended cab and short bed, power everything, two gas tanks, and its got 88000 miles on it which is just over 12000 miles a year which isnt bad from what ive heard...it runs great has lots of power and ive been wanting a truck for the longest time!!! ive brought him down from $10200 to $7700 and i think i can work him a little lower because of minor interior blemishes...tell me what you guys think! im gonna go take some pics sometime soon and ill post them when i get them! oh and its light copper in color.
EDIT: i messed up it only has 82500 miles on it!

That just seems like too low of a price unless the guy is trying to unload it for some reason... then again, maybe I'm just too cynical from working in finance/collections
its a 2wd...and im being very careful about this being such a good deal!!! im taking it to my mechanic on monday to have him drive it and look it over...and the dealership is very reputable around here and the company i work for knows the owner of the car place and is gonna try and talk them down a little more for me!!Originally posted by Xian
