I just installed my Pro Chamber and was wondering what the metal sleeve that comes in the box is for? Please tell me I don't have to take it apart again .

if it's the piece i'm thinking of it goes on the flange so you don't have a leak. start it up & see if you have a leak, i'd bet you do if it's that piece

I checked it at idle and found no leak but when accelerating under load it sounds like there is a leak. Which flange is it supose to go on? Thanks for the quick response by the way.

I have an extra one if you want it

How does it sound? The leaking sound at low RPM is normal with the PC.

Cant wait to hear it

i never installed mine... And i dont have a leak.. from the driver side anyway.. LOL

I have a leak on my pass side. I've tightened it once a month for the past 6 months, and it just keeps backing out. Any suggestions? I'm tempted to rip it all out and get some LT's. But $ is tight now

Comes down to how the studs are on the manifold. Some times you can catch enough thread that it will seal without the sleeve, other times it won't.

I might be picking up a prochamber used myself, so I may be asking around for a spare sleeve

I didn't drive it very long after the install. Just from the dealer to home. It sounds pretty stock at idle. At higher rpm it starts to wake up but there is a strange sound that may be a leak. I'll have to check it again. I'll let you know.

it goes on to driver side frange. Some time in 2001, ford changed size of frange on driverside manihold. its there to take up for the slak.

I just put my catted MAC Pro-Chamber on a couple weeks ago. I didn't use the sleeve either. No leaks here. I thinks its an option and there in case you need it.

That sound is probably the gases rushing through the chamber. I hear it on acceleration too. It's louder than my Super Turbos until about 3k.

I think your right. Just installed the sleeve and checked for leaks. No leaks. Road test, noise still there. I`ll have to get use to it.
