When the cheese is fresh and newer, I agree.... The older cheese ( and YES I include me in that category) that has "sagged" and become moldy and " dry " is not too appealing......I would have to have a piece of cheese.

If your referring to me, I did not say that... But what i DID say is every person I met who went ON AND ON about their BEAUTIFUL wife was lying through their teeth after I met the wife..... And I mean HORRIBLE inside and out.... Most of the guys who said it were definitely the BETA"S at there ( or I should say their WIFES) home........ Eleven years? Lots of time for her to come home someday and tell you " I am unhappy"........I’ll be the exception. I truly don’t understand the projection of, “my marriage was miserable. I lived a failed one and since the 28 years that happened, I have seen almost all fail I know of.....Basically, this boils down to, "oh, you think you have a good marriage now? Just you wait..."
We've had bad times before. There were times when one or both of us were unhappy for whatever reason.
Being happy is nice, but it's not the ultimate point of a marriage. There's a reason the stock wedding vows make a point of emphasizing "for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health". The good times are not guaranteed.
I'm not saying this about you, but I think far too many people these days throw in the towel when they realize that the honeymoon eventually will end.
