for sound i love the bassani off road x. just make sure to keep your stocker because the only legal midpipe in CA is an unmodified stock modpipe with all
OEM cats on it.

An H-pipe looks like a big H with pipes, an X-pipe looks like a big X with pipes H-pipes are more known for there low end torque gains X-pipes are known for more higher end gains. I have a MAC O/R H-pipe and I felt gains in both low end torque and higher end horsepower. Most of the people who are going for full out performance go for an X-pipe. Personally I prefer the sound of an H-pipe over X-pipe but hey go listen to some sound clips and decide for yourself.

As far as what kind of mid-pipe with your Borla. I would go with an X-pipe. If you have the XS mufflers you have the best performing mufflers on the market so might as well top it off with an O/R X-pipe which I beleive to be the best performing mid-pipe on the market. Bassani IMO sounds the best, Dr. Gas and Mustangtuning both are good. Stay away from Magnaflow there X-pipes sound like ****.

Yea Dr. Gas X-pipe actually sounds pretty good. When you get it up in the higher rpms it starts to become a bit rapsy but not nearly as bad as magnaflow, and down low the Dr. Gas X-pipe sounds almost as good as my flows nice deep rumble which is surprising from an X-pipe.

Basically the prochamber is a midpipe, somewhat similar to an h pipe, but it has a little "chamber" in the middle that sends the exhaust gases in certain directions to cut down on turbulence. Bunch of mumbo jumbo, buy the midpipe based on what you think sounds the best, not what makes 2 more hp than the rest. Good luck.
