Might be a fun day

OK, i know you guys that come in here are geared to the newer stangs, and trust me...i appreciate and love all these cars new and old. If it says MUSTANG on it, im there...gawd i can't believe the power those 90 COBRAS have!..OK , enough 'sucking up....heres the deal..on JUNE 30th at Pacific Raceway...in KENT, there is this little 'thing' happening..http://www.sovren.org/ Parnelli Jones..TRANS-AM VINTAGE CARS, like the BOSS 302 car that he drove to the CHAMPIONSHIP in 1970 will be there, along with the contender pretenders like the ...ahem..Camero, Javelin, Challenger etc racing, old school for sure, but still the sound and speed of these cars is still a sight to behold.

Anyway, i and Larry Cockerham and Mark Hovander have instigated and gotten together as many BOSS cars as we could muster to turn out at this gig as much as possible. Why you ask?...well, the Track and SOVREN have decided it would be cool to feature the...CAMERO this year!...geez...Parnelli Jones THE DUDE WHO KICKED ASS ALONG WITH GEORGE FOLLMER and sent the Camero into the weeds at Pacic Raceway to win the Trans-am manufacturers cup will be there..Well, i couldn't let this just go, so...WE now have over 20 BOSS cars showing up, along with some 'other' surprises...like an ORIGINAL 65 289 COBRA, numerous 2007 PJ/SALEEN BOSS cars FORD GT..ETC..AND Parnelli will be giving the BOSS owners a good hour of his time to shoot the chit with us...

This is a charity event for the CHILDRENS HOSPITAL...

So you guys in here that want to experience MUSTANG Racing History Should come out...smell the gas, the tire smoke and listen to history in action.

The big guns will be going at it on sunday, but the car shows and parade laps and Parnelli will be on Saturday...come both days. I'm the big dude with red hair, and my car is a 1970 B2...

Look me up...

Jim

btw...if you know ANYBODY with a BOSS CAR..let em know to come and to call me for tickets..425-422-8392..there is still room for more cars.

We want to blow the Cameros away and shake up their little party!..again.

The SOVREN event is one of coolest "car guy" events of the year in this neck of the woods. Being able to get that up close and personal with so many classic race cars is a very rare thing. How many times are you going to be able to hang out and chat with people like Vic and Cammie Edelbrock or Parnelli Jones? Our club, SVTOA/Seattle is going down as a group and we've arranged for parking on the paddock near the pits and then we will be doing a parade lap (not quite at speed, but still fun) during the lunch break. See you there.
