I was driving and saw a fox body with a nice cowl hood on it at a used car dealer. I stopped an inquired about the car. 347 stroker with DSS Forged internals, Trickflow TW heads, custom cam, screamin demon carb, aluminum radiator, BBk longtube headers, flowmasters w/ turndowns, C4 transmission, lines and hardware for nitrous, full array of guages, trunk mount battery, four or five(can't remember) point safety belt, 3:73 gears, Im guessing built rearend. The guy said $4500 but I'm sure he will take $4k. Is this a good deal? Sounded Awesome when he started it up. Does this sound like a deal or should I let it slide? Thanks and God Bless! Andrew

I found out the car had been hit in the rear quarter panel , but it has been replaced.

I bought an 85 GT with a 347 for $4,300. I took the tremec tranny and the 347, and sold the body for $1,000 and the draglites for $700. Seller was truthful about the shortblock too, thankfully. It was a fully forged bottom end, Ross pistons,eagle H beam rods, T-flow TW heads, Speed-Demon carb etc.

J/K man. I hope you get it. The deal sounds awesome. If you do, you know I'll have to come down & check it out & maybe help tinker on it. Take it to Shady Side at the least. The C4 is very strong and consistent .... but leaves the daily driving department lacking. I'm sure you wouldn't use it for that anyway.
