I have a 96 GT 'vert with o/r bassani x-pipes and I put the MIL Eliminators on but the check engine still comes on. I have cleared the codes a couple of times but it still comes right back on. It might be that the MIL's are no good or could it be that I need new o2 sensors? Can you guys help me out?

My 02's were fine, until about 5 minutes after I put some Flowmaster 40's on. I went and changed all of them out and have been fine ever since. With your set up you would probably only be looking at replacing the front two. What are your codes?? If they are one of your banks, thats probably the problem.

Tune it out...some shops will tune it out, even if you don't have a lot of other mods to tune for.

I had the same problem on an 02 and finally took it to a dyno tune place where they determined the problem to be a lean condition on one bank. The fix was a slight adjustment in the fuel/air ratio and the problem disappeared.

What code are you pulling? We could narrow it way down if you tell us the code.
