So the MILs you have to splice are obviously a bunch cheaper than the ones with plugs but what are the drawbacks to the MILs you have to splice? I assume you have to cut the factory to splice the wires together..? How tough is it to splice and resplice when you have to put the factory midpipe back on for emissions? I imagine that at some point you run out of wire..
Plugs worth the doe$$$$$$????

that's why he has to ask about em. no $ left. j/k

first let me say, i had both ; and neither worked for me. but i digress.

if i had to switch back & forth for inspection, i would go with the plug & play ones. alot easier to get on & off. could do it with others, but would be a pita.

try steeda's. don't bother with dallas mustang. trust me.

If I can save 30$ bucks why not? Nickle and dimming is why I was able to afford a Roush in the first place..

Dever01, Thanks for the tip. Neither worked for you huh... wonder why?

not sure. had a couple of stubborn O2 sensors i spose. it would go off for awhile with em, but always came back on within a week or so.

but mr. sct chip came in & saved the day & my sanity.

the cheaper ones are not that hard to wire in or anything, just kinda annoying splicing into wires & using 10 wire tires to keep it from lookin like @ss. then, u wil have to rip it all out and start over every time u have inspection. just pita mostly.

if u want to be real cheap, u can make your own for almost nothing. there's a guide to that somewhere on here for it.

I use the PEP MIL elims ( www.ponyexpressperformance.com ). Yes, you splice them in, no big deal. They work just fine. Check out their FAQ section on their website & you can troubleshoot why your MIL elims are not properly working (it's usually a slight exhaust leak / bad O2 sensor / etc).
