I just a got a new H-pipe but i don't have the MIL's yet and I was wondering what will happen if I install the h-pipe without the MIL's beside's my check engine light coming on?

all you will get is the CEL.

You don't have a malfunction indicator lamp yet? That's funny, everybody has that lamp on their vehicle. And why are you refering to it as plural? There is only one MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp.)

Oh.. maybe you mean MIL ** ELIMINATORS **

i also have a 99 w o/r x pipe and the mil eliminaters were useless, worked for about 5 min., wasted money, check into it. CEL came back on

I've had an offroad midpipe without MIL Eliminators for almost a month now. I've driven over 2,700 miles and still no MIL. I didn't turn them off with a tuner or chip either. *shrug*

where did you get yours from? I got some on e-bay a few weeks ago and they don't work either ...even after flashing the computer

So does it effect your engine or comp. in anyway or is it just a stupid ass light that telling you to buy spend more money...??? I have them on mine and no light.... DID i waste 50$ ???

looks like you have cats on yours so no, you don't need them

think i ordered mine from cj pony parts, not sure it was a long time ago. i just plugged them in and they worked for a few min and that was it. have heard of a lot of these not working. u live and learn i guess

ive dealt with the light for a couple years now---dont even notice it anymore, now if it goes off i could be in trouble

Well I'll be getting a tuner soon so i'll have to put up with it for a little while. I just wanted to know if it would effect the computer or anything thats all.

No it doesn't effect your engine or computer,you'll just never know if something is really wrong sence your light is already on.

NO I just never changed my sig, I change the pipe out to a straight x-pipe no cats ,
