I'm new to the Mustang scene. I got an '06 GT, Torch red with red leather and a 5-speed.

I reside in the Tupelo area. Just seeing if anyone from around here is on the board?

Thanks.

did you have a white mustang with mach 1 wheels? i was there with my black stang with the huge hood, and my dad's 02 ss. did you go to futral's dyno day not to long after corr's dyno day?
That's mine...I did go to Futrals that day but didn't dyno. He lives down the street from me so his shop is 5 minutes from the house.

I want to go to the Hattiesburg track but not sure if they are doing anything Easter weekend.

coramprat, hub city dragway is closed on easter sunday the 16th but on the 14th that friday they have test and tune. i'd like to go but i broke a piston and might not have it back together by then.
Ahh..bummer about the engine...

I figured they wouldn't have anything on Sunday but depending on when my wife gets off work I may go to the TnT Friday. We haven't decided if we will leave Fri or Sat. If it's Sat I probably won't even bring the car. Gas is too much if I don't have a reason to drive it. :(

yeah gas prices suck! if i can get the motor back together i'll go and make a few easy passes.
did the cams wake up the 4.6? i been very interested in the mod motors for a while now. did you install them yourself ? how was it?

I gained 25HP and 7 tenths so they did a good job. I had some help with the install but both of us had never done a cam swap before. I guess we did OK. Took two days with lots of breaks and trips to the parts store...

I think I'll go ahead and bring the car. I went to TnT at No Problem Weds and blew a heater hose during my burnout on my first run...dropped fluid all over the starting line and they shut the track for about 25 minutes.

I'm going to try and get there early so I can get a few runs in.

Anyone else in the Hattiesburg area come on out to TnT tonight!!! I'm in a white 96 GT with Mach 1 wheels and no rear spoiler. "Get On It" racing decal on the rear window along with a Mark Martin "6".

i got the motor together friday night! but i always feel like i am forgetting things! which is really not a good feeling. the motor went in today with a little help from a buddy and made alot of lead way. i might get to start it tomorrow? if i do i'll take some video!

to bad you ran bad! don't feel to bad, when i went out last year i spun horribly and the best i could do was a 13.7 at 107, then a 14.2 and broke that piston on the next run! i ran street tires but i don't know if they don't keep the track up well or what? what was your times?

how is hub city dway compared to no problem raceway?
jake

I like No Problem better just becuase I'm more used to that track but it gets really crowded sometimes and is hard to get in more than 2 runs.

I ran 4 times before I realized I had left the MAF sensor off. I kept running 14.7's. So once I found that I was back at 14.1 with a trap of 99.87 but only got 2 decent runs...I was hot lapping so I couldn't get the 13's I was hoping for with the sticky tires. I'm still working on my shift points with the cams and tune and have had only 4-5 good runs to get it down. My best was 14.05 on street tires so I know I have more in it. I may try one more time but the weather is so freakin hot now.
