So how do I replace the electric motor to the Mark 8 fan? I see it has three mounting spots and it looks like they are press rivits. Do I drill them out or can they be pryed out and reused?
Ahhh, you have to hold your tounge just right, or else you might... Nahhh just kidding.
Drill them, punch them out, and get some 1/4"-20 (I think) bolts with LOCK NUTS!!! and just attach the fan motor with that. You can use some RED loctite if you want for extra protection, because you shouldn't have to do this job again any time soon.
And there you go. This is the way I've done it and have had no problems, just make sure to get locknuts though.
