There are couple in the metroplex area. They'll show up with a bag of harborfreight tools. They're not cheap but most of em are "hungry" a do pseudo carnie esq so there's usually some wiggle room as far as labor goes. But it'd be an expensive way to learn how to work on your car and really they just want to get whatever part you have for them to put on on and then hope and pray they get a call from another schmoe. What do you need done? Don't get too technical or they'll have to switch sections again.

Ok, I'll try to give you some advice, if you are truly soliciting help from the members here.
You probably are gonna have to get a lot more specific if you expect to get any real help or advice from anyone looking in on your thread. Telling us that you have a fox, and you need help is comparable to saying that you have a pencil, and you need to learn how to write.

This is what you need:

Give more details on your car i.e. Year, engine/trans, condition.
Briefly outline what your goals are.
Post a pic or two of the car.

There is only so much "help working on the car" anybody can provide you with from a web forum. Its up to you to provide the information required if you hope to get any.

If you are not sure about using the web to help walk you through the process and feel confident you need someone to come help you, you might try DFWstangs.net. I can't tell you anything about the site, other than it exists. Maybe @bird_dog0347 is familiar with it.

Thanks @hoopty5.0

You won't find much help at dfwstangs.net as that place is freaking dead... Really long story there, yes it does still exist but the site you should check would be dfwmustangs.net as that is essentially what it is now. Either way, the forum members over there (myself included) tend to eat their young. Better have really thick skin around there but there are also some GREAT people on that board. Honestly for this kind of stuff if you're hoping to learn it over the interwebz you'd be best off to stay here or The Corral as the dfwmustangs.net forum isn't super car technical anymore.

@stangtoyho

I see you asked about checking pushrod length and adjusting rockers, I'd personally search this forum on it as well as corral.net for that and then watch youtube videos unless you can give a great deal more information here.

So let's try this one more time before I give up... Do not start posting like this on the DFWM forum or you will not like the results over there.
