Mock Clear Corner Headlights. *UPDATED PICS*

I was thinking about buying this little decal for the time being before I get some real clear corners. Has anyone ever bought these? any pics? thanks!

They don't look to bad if you ask me. Look here: http://www.isitfast.com/images/Headlights/1mustang.jpg

Also, has anybody ever used this stuff for their tail lights. thanks!

I used the VHT night shade on an extra set of headlights I had, I then put a few layers of clear over it and I think it came out nice. I might do the tail lights, I'm not sure.

Yea I used the VHT Niteshades, if you want them really dark you need 2 cans. Also a good idea to put on a few coats of clear coat on them to shine it up a little bit. BTW I did the tails not the headlights.

I did a light coat of VHT nightshade, you can still kind of see the sidemarkers. Lighting isnt as great as before but it isnt bad at all. If your going to do the headlights, do a really light coat. I also did a light coat on the taillights because I actually want people to see me brake. One can did the headlights and the taillights.

just get the clear corner lights. or for a cheap quick fix just stop by a local sign ship and ask for some black vinyl to cover the amber reflectors

Perfect...I bought some nite shade the other day and will hopefully be puting it on within the next couple weeks. I still need to buy the clear coat though. However, I think I will probably only do the tail lights as I already have the 2001 smoked headlights. I also bought some of those "clear corner" stickers. I'll put them on and post some pictures. thanks for the help!

It's only been on for a few days...I'm waiting on the ticket. As you can see my front windows are not tinted right now because of a ticket, theres a cop around me with a tint boner

*edit* if you want a cheap way for clear corners you could always cut the back of the headlight and pull the amber out...

I've used both on my car. I originally had the reflector cover decals in black to black out my headlights about a 2 years ago lol

.
i also have nightshades on my tail lights but i WOULD NOT reccommend it. that stuff just keeps pissing me off the more i use it and realize how hard it is to work with just buy the decal or static cling ones. much more worth it.

Well, I went ahead and bought some just to see how thay would come out. Not too bad but I'm still unsure about how much I like them. I'll give them a couple weeks and then I'll decide. Anyways...here ya go...

Hey TruBlue...I just bought some of that nightshade tint to black out my tail lights, reflector, and third brake light. Haven't had a chance to use it yet...but it doesn't seem like your liking it too much. I thought it was just as easy as painting them to the desired shade and then giving them a couple coats of clear. Is there something I should avoid? thanks.
