OK I've had my stang for 2 weeks, so I think it's time for some mods . First things I want to do are a catback exhaust, catted H-Pipe, and a CAI. from there I wanna get a new intake, throttle body, plenum, and new headers and a midpipe. Any recommendations from personal experience? For the catback I definately want the magnaflow, but i'm not sure what H-pipe I wana use because i'm gonna have to bolt it to the stock headers for a while but I want one that will still work with aftermarket headers

Im not sure what year or model your stang is, but if its a 99+ I would go with the MRT catted h pipe. I just installed one on my 03 Mach and it even sounds badass wit the stock catback (which I plan on swapping out for a magnaflow soon). The thing hat attracted me to the MRT h pipe is the full stainless construction, and Im done with x pipes for now. Too raspy for my taste.

First thing you should do is make a signature so people know exactly what kind of f'n car you have.

Second thing is to make sure the car is in top running condition by peforming any needed preventitive maintenance. If you have had it two weeks now you should have at least changed every single fluid and waxed the underside of the hood, etc.

Third you should get an SCT Live Wire.

Fourth install 4.10 gears.

Fifth should be shifter and catback.

After that you will know what to do next.

Well, my take on it is go with o/r h pipe. I recently went with the mac and am thrilled with it. I wouldn't waste my money on a CAI again, would prob just go with K&N if I had it to do over. Also, from what I understand, headers are not worth doing unless you go with LT's, in which case, I believe you would need to go with a shorter h pipe at that time anyway.

Yes, o/r H or X is a great and surprisingly cheap mod. He has to decide if he is going to do LTs when he buys it as you say since LTs and stock iron manifolds will require different midpipes.

good call, and can you pass emissions with an O/R Hpipe? I didn't know the car had cats on it before the H (excuse my ignorance)
