That Mustangs plus kit looks pretty in depth and I've heard from guys who have done it that say it really helps.

Well, I was hoping some of you guys had tried some of your own mods.
Here is what I know is available:
The convertable had some additional stiffening mods installed. They are available at Metro Auto Parts Market along with other sources, and include a LOWER REINFORCEMENT PLATE, INNER ROCKER PANEL, INNER TRUNK BRACE - center and both sides. Here is a Mustangs Monthly article on installation
The Boss 302 had additionnal mods such as the front crossmember mentioned by 70vert here.
There were other mods made to the Boss and I have ordered the "Boss 302 Chassis Mod Book" which should be here in a few days.
I'd like to know if OpenTracker "rolled his own" front and rear torque boxes or bought one of the kits out there.
Are these definitely reinforcements or just replacements?

I'm doing my floorpan next and would love to add some additional metal in the right places to stiffen it up. Thanks for the link. I also plan to do TCP's subframe connectors (weld-in) w/the bolt-in center link:

The ones I listed are additions to the coupe and fastback. They are standard on the Convert.
I's like to get a closer look at the Mustang Plus Kit.
I'd also REALLY like to get a look at the Shock tower bracing OpenTracker mentioned in an earlier post. (gone now)
There are some other mods I'll know more about when the Boss 302 book gets here.
I've seen the TCP sub-frame connectors. I think there are some problems with exhaust routing using them. It also looked to me that they affected ground clearance,.
The connectors by Maier Racing are the strongest for early cars but I think they are somewhat different for 67 up. (not sure) It's important to have the sub-frame connectors attached in more than two places per connector. If they are only attached in two places the welds act as pivot points.
I'm thinking of adding a bulkhead where the trapdoor used to be. Stiffens chassis and isolates passenger compartment from gas tank etc.
The winpiest part of the chassis for twist appears to be right around the seat pans. I'm not sure what I'm going to do but I think adding strength/stiffness there would be good.
