What's the problem? Armrest? All I did was use a heat gun, heated the armrest up nice and good, and slammed the door and let it sit for a few minutes to cool off and fit like a glove

yea its the armrest like you said. i used the heat gun originally and there was no way it was going to fit even slamming the door, the door just flexed and flys right back at you

what about moving the mounting point inward? so the bar moves a little farther away from the panel. As other than that you'll have to remove the armrest, or cut it. On the drivers side of my car I moved the front bar about a 1/2" away from the kickpanel to gain a bit more clearance by the armrest, passenger side just needed the heat-gun treatment.

the soft foam part you can heat no problem but the rest of the armrest plastic around the lock/window switches dont conform as well. right now its looking like the lower right hand side of the switch panel has to go to even come close

the movement of the bar was an option but it was to tight to fit in comfort and to fit the seat

Ahhh, mine has manual windows so I didn't have that hard plastic to worry about, though my bar wouldn't have even come close to touching that part of the armrest even if it did :\ So mine moulded quite easily
