Moldy Interior (try #2!)

guess my alst thread got effed up. to sum up, i left my jeep in the driveway for a couple months, now the leather is all covered in mold. what can i use to celan the leather, and carpet of all the mold, that wont mess it up? i need to get it clean again before my sister or myself drive it again

Similar concept. Just be careful when working with mold as you don't want to spread it, breath it, ingest it, etc. Also read that a Magic Eraser may help, but watch that you dont spread the spores to the air either.

i got a saweet mask/respirator thing from a guy i work with. i planned on cleaning the seats off, then takign them out of the car and cleaning them a few times, then pulling the carpet out, etc.

i guess i will pull the seats out FIRST, THEN clean them up outside. warm water on a rag, and scrub scrub scrub?

then ill ahve to find the leak

Yeah you basically want to get off all of the spores and make sure everything gets dried, preferably by the sun's UV goodness I'd then use some leather cleaner/conditioner once you got it all off and dried.

Not sure on the carpet though...

i was thinkin of steam cleaning the carpet. i knwo my family has a big one, its sjt a matter of does it still work or not
