I am interested in the Modular Powerhouse Mongoose kit for my 2000 GT. I have read that the kit comes with an "MPH tune." Do you simply take out the stock computer and send it to them for the tune?

How many miles were on your cars when/if you installed a Mongoose kit? I have around 76k on my car now.

Also, how difficult was the install? I know there have been tons of posts on this subject already...

When I bought my kit 1.5 years ago I had to send him my computer to be flashed. But I think he might be sending chips out now..

My car only has 26,000 miles on it right now. But I don't think you will have any issues at all with 76,000 miles. Just make sure you get a new fuel filter.

The install is very easy If you can turn wrenches. The only special tools that you will need are a fuel line disconnect tool, a couple punches, and a 3/8 NPT tap.
