oil mixed with coolant....does not look good

i understand, do you suspect a bad head gasket or something worse??

I'm thinking head gasket, but I guess I really won't know until I take her apart I s'pose. I guess that won't be TOO bad since I'm going to be digging in there anyways to change out the cam.

heres what my engine looks like now i just pulled the heads last week to replace a blown headgasket...

could be intake manifold seal(s)....if that makes you feel better.

Those two fluids should not be mixed at any time. Do a compression test first.

Well, pretty soon i'm going to be swapping the cam, so i'll have her taken down quite a bit anyways. I'll go ahead and do the headgaskets. But like you said VibrantRedGT, I'll do a compression test.

put a hydraulic roller in her and some link bar lifters. you'll be very happy you did
