I just got my car out of the shop where they found a burnt up belt in my tranny, and replaced it. Well now I will be driving and my car feels like it doesnt wanna shift, almost like it gets stuck in second or third gear and doesnt wanna shift up. What is the problem? My car only has 24000 miles on it.

Holly smokes what kinda belt is in a tranny? I'm getting rid of mine if its got a belt in it!

if its under warranty , make the dealer fix it. I dont know what it could be on a low mileage car like that.

Does the transmission have a belt or a band? I think that the transmission belt which you are referring to is some sort of a band that's in the transmission. Does anyone in here have any pictures of a transmission band and a transmission belt? I would like to know what it exactly looks like. Thanks.
