has anyone uses the Moroso cold air intake? I was just wondering if it is any good. I looked in to the K&N but I don't like the design, its just a filter with hardware, and its expensive. The Moroso is only $113 and its the whole kit. So if anyone has used it and likes it let me know, or let me know what the best intake is. Thanks

I have one, it's OK, does the same job but for a lot less that the MAC/BBK/ect big chrome kits or the K&N. Honestly, just get a slip in K&N/Airhog/Cool Blue and remove the silencer and it will be just as good. Mine melted due to a shop lamp got laid on it, made a hole, I patched it up with electrical tape. That's why I'm not selling it.

Your in douglasville, I'm in Acworth, but I work in Marietta, if you ever want to see one PM me and let me know and I'll bring mine to work.

I have one. It made a noticeable improvement in performance on mine. Not real significant but noticeable. I did go from a completely stock, with air silencer intact, to the Moroso however.

mines got one, was on it when i got it so i dont know about its performance, but it seems to do the job ok. it is just the front part leading up to maf, so imo its kinda goofy cause you still got the "ripple" pipe after the maf, both in looks and principal. if it had been up to me i woulda just let the stock airbox stay with a fresh filter.

I had the C&L 76mm MAF with tube which took care of the ripple pipe.

The Moroso is supposed to make the air a little cooler, but I think it more to smooth out the air befor the MAF.

stocker gets air from the same place, so thats essentially it. imo cai's are nothing but a bling thing anyway unless you've got more head/intake airflow potential.

I have a Moroso kit but it's currently not on the car. I have the same result every time I run it. Car runs great for about 2 weeks then it develops a strange "start up" problem. With the kit, the car would start up and just completely die out after about 3 seconds but would start right up and run fine after the second start attempt. I put back on my stock airbox and the problem instantly goes away. I've had this problem with any CAI I've ever ran on the car. I still have my Moroso kit however, pm me if your interested in it.
