I 'm just curious, What the most annoying things people do While your driving; while they drive; or while in your vehicles.

While I drive; haven't really come up with too much for this, just pleaseeeee don't go digging through my cds to change the music.

While others drive:
Letting go of the wheel, swerving, pretending like their perfect drivers when they have horrible records, talking on the phone so excessively they forget their supposed to be driving, Insisting on keeping all windows rolled down even in the winter while driver is the only one with a jacket or sweater on, insisting they know the way to go and then ask you how to get there, getting stupid becuase they see a cop car.

In my (oka well not mine exactly but it's close enough) vehicle:

DO NOT LEAVE FINGERPRINTS ON ALL THE SHINY ARMORALLED SPOTS
If it was clean I would like it to stay that way
It's a truck not a purse, don't leave extra stuff in there!
Log the mileage and set back the trip odometer when you fill up on gas

That's it for me, What about everyone else...
Trish

Flicking cigarette butts out of the window.

high beams on and thinks it's normal.

driving slow on the left lane (US). Other countries have signs like 'Drive on left lane only to over take'. I guess in the US, people don't understand 'slower traffic to the right' means.

I don't understand the feet on the dash thing. I guess it's relaxing position for them. I once saw a drive with one of his feet out of the window like that. Must hurt if a bug come flying by...

When crusing down the road people insist on waiting til your close, then pulling out really fast in front of you. Fine, I'm still pissed, but atleast there not gonna hold me up if they came out that fast. WRONG. They go like 10 mph the entire way, and take every turn I need to. Needless to say, I do a lot of detouring. It's great to take a much longer way and look down the street to see that @$$ still a block behind.

I have stock seatbelts in my 66, the kind where one side retracts back into place. EVERYTIME I give people rides, they'll just hit the button and that end will go flying up against my door interior and "mini-dent" the hell out of it. There's about 60 little chips on my lower door panel. GRRR

Man have I Been There.

But on the plus side it does clean out better after it dries.

RR, I hate it when the voices in my head think they know a short cut?

Mine are telling me which is the long way home.

I wrote this 2 or 3 days ago in 4.6 talk.

"All of the above and...
When people ask if they can smoke, then ask why not

Girls with big boobs who like to show cleavage. I was driving my neighbor to school today and glanced to my right and ended up staring at her boobies. For like 5 seconds. I almost hit the car in front of me

Adjusting the radio? How about people asking why I don't HAVE a radio.

People that twist my shoulder harnesses."

cell phones.

it pisses me off to no end.

people can barely drive without the distraction of chatting with thier friends. If you are so important that it is absolutely necessary to talk on the phone while driving. Then why are driving yourself.

I still need to build a cell phone jammer...

I get that one about the radio alot. AS to the 2nd thing........ Doesn't happen to me that often.

Most annoying: Yelling at other people in the vehicle like they're deaf.

All the damned tourist driving 5 miles an hour on MY roads!

The goddamned out-of-stater, or up island ferry traffic that won't stop to let our ambulance or fire trucks out to respond to calls....even with fire police in the roadway trying to stop them!!!

You're starting to sound an awful lot like ME! Ahhhh... but at least it's warming up; and soon most of our problems will go back where they came from. And, judging from the large number of times the offender had a Statue of Liberty on his/her plates, about half of these very same people will be pulling in front of your Fire Trucks pretty soon!

Two thoughts come to mind when hear this young Jedi's lament:

Thought 1: As you become more wise in the ways of the world; you will learn that the smart path is to pull off the side of the road and enjoy the view and spend a heck of a lot more than 5 seconds doing so!

Thought 2 (Actually a question): You moved in next to Jaci?????

As for NK's comments:

Thought 1: Until you put a muffler in that great gaping hole in the middle of Dammit's exhaust line; a radio would be useless and people have to yell at you to be heard!

Thought 2: You'd better not be checking out any cleavage in the front seat!

Considering that the Liberty plates have been retired for almost two years now, they better not!

OT: Did you know that IOWA has the MOST geezers per capita? All I can figure is they must've gotten lost on their way to Florida!

Most geezers are from I-O-WAYYYY???? Wow, learn something new daily. Most of our snowbirds are from either your neck of the woods or from up in SuperDave's region.

Now, up in Oboe's town, the snowbirds are generally from Minneso-oooo-ta; which I'd guess could be considered Northern Iowa.

That is MOST geezers PER CAPITA! Something like 4 out of 5 is a geezer, but then there are only 5 people in the entire state!
