Yes. I shed a tear for the GT though Such a pretty car and now its gone. Always saw it in your avatar and just figured you still had it.
If you made a thread about it I must of forgotten as I really do get upset when the people on here I know loose their car and I try to purge it from my memory so that I am not sad when fapping

well we got a little more work done on the motor today, and i did take a couple pictures, nothing too exciting but i left my camera in my friends car so no pictures today. we got the timing chains on and the motor spins without any of the valves hitting the pistons, timing cover is on, oil pan is on, exhaust manifolds are on, (polyurethane) motor mounts are on....ah hell most of the motor is ready to go.

tomorrow night we gotta mount up clutch and trans and drop the motor into the car and put together the top of the motor. if all goes well i expect the car to run tomorrow and be drivable by friday night. the only things left after dropping the motor in the car are welding up the new mufflers (i have flowmaster super 44's) and replacing a leaky pinion seal (it got worse since the car has been sitting for 2 months.)

UPDATE!!!!!!!

well last night we finally got the car running and even was able to take it around the block. we didnt want to drive further because there is only a little bit of fluid left in the diff after replacing the pinion seal. we were going to completely drain it but for did a good job on the planing and conveniently left out a drain plug so we are going to get a hand pump to suck the fluid out and refill it.

well here are progress pics!!

engine assembled with timing chains

oil pan on, oil cooler, exhaust manifold (these will be changed in spring when i get my tax return)

Prothane polyurethane motor mount

Spec Stage2 clutch

going in

trans and driveshaft in

new Flowmaster Super 44's getting welded in.

exhaust completly finished

motor is in and the upper plenum is off waiting to go in.

i didnt get anymore shots of it after it was totally finished, but i did get some video of it running and i can post that later. i am SO excited to get back on the road with this thing even though its getting cold.
