There seems to be an isolater that looks like it's between the motor mount and the K member. Anybody know what that is? I want to change my mounts. Do I have to put it back in if I'm using solid mounts?

The piece I'm talking about looks like a thin piece of aluminum. Is there a heat shield of some sort?
As far as rethinking this,.... the car only has 11,000 miles on it. It's 8 years old so it's no where near a daily driver. We'll try it and if we don't like it we'll change it out.

dude your car is no where near to the point where it needs solid motor mounts either, your teeth are going to get rattled out in less than a day

You could be right def,..... some people seem to like the fender shake. I'll find that out. Now, back to my question. Any ideas?

Actually def it's more the idea do you need it? or do you think you really want it,....
