Motor rough then stalled

I have an 04 cobra with a 2.90 pulley that I ran hard yesterday at an all 3rd gear track event, on my third 15 min session the car started cutting out and stalling. All gauges were normal, after sitting 30 min, it started and idled normal. On my way home 10 minutes later it coughed a few times and stalled. After 5+ min it would start and run OK for 15 min and then do the same thing with the check engine light coming on now. Finally made it home and read codes PO234 Super Charger, PO190 Fuel Rail Pressure. Any ideas? Will be going to the shop soon.

Those codes don't sound good. Were using a Snap-On scanner? Mine gives me those PO codes and everytime I've changed what it said, my problem was gone. That scanner is the best. Sounds like the the supercharger may have gotten overheated. Repeated 3rd gear pulls can't be the best thing for those. Once you figure out the problem, I recommend buying a heavy duty intercool from Atco, or Fluidyne. I had a custom one made for my Lightning 2 years ago and that blower never suffered from heat after that.

Thanks for your imput. I'm going to my mechanic who has Snap-On stuff and let him read codes, I used my Diablo. I already have a double pass HC and larger coolant tank. Did you mean it gave me false codes? Do you think a sensor is gone?

Welcome to making some power and shifting hard with a return less fuel system. Pumps on, pump off, this puts major stress on the FPRS because the FPRS see's these dips and tells the pcm to kick pumps on when rail pressure is low. You can work some of this out in the fuel tables of the time but you will never get rid of all of it, replace the FPRS, change the oil and filter as when they go bad fuel gets into your oil. You can run the disk although we do not like them, if anything do what I posted and have your tune checked.
