Pry the edelbrock performer maybe? When you say store I assume you mean like Napa or something In that case I doubt they really have them in stock (not like I've gone and asked them what intakes they had in stock though)

However I'm sure any part store can order it for you if you want.

Isn't the 94-95 Cobra intake the same as the 93 except for the elbow? That being said I know you can get them from year one listed as 94-95 Cobra intakes. It's $589 and includes upper plenum, lower manifold, EGR spacer gasket and plenum gasket.

Year One has the part number listed as FR484

Edit: If I was you I'd pry go with the Edelbrock Performer. If you need to upgrade you can just buy the RPM or RPM II upper plenum. And as far as that Ford Racing Cobra intake goes, I believe it has the elbow cast into the plenum like our stock intakes.

thanks GT_KID, i'll see what i can do with that price. there's someone LOCALLY selling his ported cobra upper and lower for $350, but i don't know if it would be too much air for my stock engine. the porting was professionally done and if you want to see some pics, give me an e-mail address and i'll send them.(don't know how to post them here, if you want to post them here, i'll send you the e-mail with them, anyone)

PS, you're right about the elbow.

No problem stunner, glad I could help. I doubt a port job on a Cobra intake would be too much, provided the porting was done in moderation.

FYI: The Edelbrock Performer intake is 519 from Year One, but does not include our elbow. I'd get out my Summitt mag but I just recently moved and it's packed away somewhere lol.

don't worry about it, i have the new mag, it came with my new d/s. a ported cobra intake might not do much more, but will it hurt my car, that is the real question. i just don't want to be gettin too much air to where my engine can't handle it and rides like crap. i'll have good exhaust system but that's not the case.

It's hard to say whether or not the ported Cobra will let too much air in, since the porting can be done to different levels. Your best bet would be to try to find out how much the ports were widened and what their current size is, and then someone here could pry tell you.

if it means anything, it's matched to a felpro 1260 gasket, don't know how good that is but it might help some of you intake specialists

If its opened up that far, I'd stay away from it as you'll have to REALLY open up the intake port on the stock head to match up. I think you meant 1262 gasket though.

Summit and jegs no longer carry the 94/95 cobra intake these intakes have been discontinued. There are some places that still have them in stock.

Don't use a ported Cobra intake, and I wouldn't go bigger than a Performer for an aftermarket intake.

i'll look into the performer, i'm a huge fan of trickflow tho, will any of their intakes work with my set-up? but if performer is the best way to go, then i'll do that, i'll wait to see what you all say.
thanx

ps, killer, he told me that he used that gasket, i'm not sure tho, you might be right
