Since Im on deferred rejudifacation for my illegal lane change ticket until June
I gotta drive real slow and carfeul anyway, I decided to do an experiment.
I drive 25 miles one way to work everyday and its 90% highway. I have been
getting 19 mpg, now 21 mpg. When on the highway I stay at 1500 rpm's
or 65mph, no WOT. Thats a 10% increase or 30 cents a gallon cheaper.

5 speed I guess. I have got 24mpg on pure highway driving but the 21mpg is
mixed highway and around town driving thrown in.

yep, i wouldn't drive a crapamatic. I still have the stock 3.27's in. I don't know how I got that fuel mileage considering I have a mac o/r h-pipe on and I'm waiting on my MIL Eliminators to show up.

When it takes 1.5 hours to go 19 miles, you certainly would. Welcome to Chicago, home of wasted resources.

I get anywhere from 20-23 depending on how many times I have to stop on the way home.

it's been a few years but when i lived in Houston i would drive back home on holidays. i think it was 380 miles driveway to driveway and i'd still have a 1/4 tank, well over 400 miles a tank and close to 30mpg, 5spd on cruise at 70
