Okay, I just put in an MSD 6200 (6A) it was used from a towed car that we ended up owning so I took it out and put it in my car, it worked for a couple of days. Now the car wont start when it's hooked up. I put a power tester on it and it has power in from the battery, plus power in from the car's ignition, but nothing coming out to the coil. I hear that Baxter Auto Parts here in Portland, OR can check to see if the ignition is working correctly but I don't want to look like an idiot when I walk in there. If it's gone bad, can they be fixed? Since it's used and I didn't buy it originally, I don't know about any warrenties. Can they be repaired in most cases or do they just plain need to be replaced.
I guess the bright side would be if they can't fix it is that I could get a 6AL, but I don't want to spend the $$ unless I have to.
