all the clips of borla I've heard havent sounded good at all on a o/r h pipe and long tubes, anyone have a real good one, because the clips of the 3 chambers have sounded better.

I dont want my stang to sound different than it is suppose to? flows are what I've always thought a stang was suppose to sound like...

What a stang is supposed to sound like? HAHAHA im sorry man but come on...there is no sound its SUPPOSED to sound like. Thats like saying stangs are SUPPOSED to have cobra r wheels. Sure they look good. A LOT of people run them. But is there anything better? Thats the real question. Flows do sound great. I have 2 chambers on mine now....but i will either be going with Dynomax Bullets or Spintech Prostreets. I think Spintech Sportsmans would do you fine.

There is nothing wrong with being different. No one has given a muffler that does not sound good on a stang...its pretty hard to make a 5.0 NOT sound good.

Maybe these files will help....dont post this on other threads cause its my own webspace i dont want to be killed.

Exhaust clips...

I have Spintechs Pro Street's, the louder of the two (Sportsmans are the quieter) I really like the sound of them. They are the only set of mufflers I have ever had, but I would say they are kinda like Flowmasters. But alot better, they drone very little do not sound so metallic, and they are not bad just driving around. They really open up when you get the R's up... I have got some warnings w/ the but it was from a dickhead state cop.

Alot of ppl run them w/ an X pipe, but i have an old Ford Racing 2-1/4 non mandrel H pipe. I think they would sounds bad w/ an X but I dont need it to be any lounder... atleast for now.

I got a good buy on them from www.mustangwarehouse.com I think thats right. They were with flow tubes included and I only paid like 170 or so...

If u want a louder idle buy a camshaft not mufflers
Mac Flow paths sound pretty mean at idle
Spintechs are quiet
Any straight through will be quiet at idle as well
