Hey guys, I was on here just looking around like last week and I found a cool list of various things you could do with a multimeter. would any of you know where I could find it?? I used the search, but no luck. Thanks in advance!! I just bought me a $20 multimeter from summit to re do my tps. so I just was curious on what else I could do with it!

Resistance, voltage, amperage..what else is there?

My one at work will do temperature with then correct probe attached.

I think he wants to learn the procedures for testing various components, not what the meter itself is capable of doing.

It was a link to a program like microsoft word or something like that!! and it had a lot of usefull stuff on there!

Only problem being the lower end ones dont seem to have nearly the functions that the high end ones do so there will most likely be certain things you would be able to read. My snap-on one is bad ass but they retail for $600.

I have a Simpson Analog Meter, it was expensive way back when I bought it, awesome tool!

My meter reads Hertz, Amps, temp, capacitance, rpm, pulse width, duty cycle, diode tests, and a lot more I am forgetting I am sure.
