Have been been driving my 86' GT every day since I sold my Blazer. I will be moving to Texas n abought a month and need to get a few things done to the car before I leave.
1) A/C needs to be fixed, that's a no brainer
2) Timming cover is leaking and timming chain is original.
3) Lots of oil leaks on the driveway. If it's the rear main seal I may as well put in a new clutch. This is also original.

The car has close to 123,000 on it. It pulls hard and it seams like a waste of money to change the clutch. If I do change it, Which clutch should I buy ? King Cobra any good or should I put up the extra cash for a Centerforce ?

If you're moving from Jersey to TX, you better take a real close look at the integrity of your cooling system - especially if you're gonna repair the a/c. Hoses, pump - all have to come off to reseal the front cover - that's the time to replace them. And if by some stretch the 86 still has the original radiator in it - better have that puppy checked out. The heat off the a/c condenser will make it work much harder.

If your intended useage is a daily driver and you are pretty much stock with the engine, go KC. I ahve one in both of mine. Excellent street manners.

A/C is a no brainer?

Ahhh, I see.

The hoses are not the correct part number, but Torrie will get you the correct ones when you say it is an 86. They route differently than the aero cars.
