Our GT's are better suited to compete with the garden variety WRX (not STI), Supercharged Grand Prix's and most rice.

LS1's in the Vette's and Trans Am's have to much power for our stock cars to contend with. That's why we religiously MOD

too long

i recently sold my 99 vette vert, yes it was a little built 391 rwhp, with a stg 5 flp automatic. it was awesome fast. and looked good too. a couple problems thou, auto is crap on the track, (willow springs), and needs a roll bar cause the vert situation, and so friggin low its hard to get out of, im kind of a lard arse. but it would make just about about any mousetang look silly. it was really fast. theres a huge difference in price too, the c5 mezeire is over $500 and the ford meziere is under $300. the saleen sc is $4500+ and the sc for the c5's would total out about $7,000+, lots of power diff thou but where can you use 7-800 hp. i had a lot of problems with it at both well known calif corvette shops and literally got sick of listening to their crap about why it had problems. lies, theivery and broken parts from both shops. i dumped it looseing a couple grand $. now i have the 06 mustang gt 5 spd stick ordered, c/u as of 8/18. windveil / parchment cloth / iup. also a saleen should be on my bench this week, ive already got the ford coated shorties, mezeire, 90mm maf, 39 # inj, 4" cai, hurst and a few other look good mods for it. i dont care for the new fogs so tomorrow i should be receiving the 6 cyl bumper /grill. and we'll be cruiseing as a 6 cyl looking for vettes to whoopass on. i think i have a attitude. also removeing the rear gt badge and side fender markings and running the stock bullets in front with wider in the rear + 285/295?. a fellow employee does rear gears and can change the 3.55 to 3.7s for me but with the sc im not sure about it. the ford axle backs and their full susspention will be ordered within a month. this ford stuff is much more afFORDdable and should be plenty fast enough.
IMHO.
and if i need to maybe a snow kit.
