A few people had their hoods open. It wasn't really a car "show" but a gathering/cruise in for area Mustangs and the Great American Pony Drive at World headquarters.

Besides, the weather has been very uncertain around here so it was great to see the approximately 300 Mustangs just show up for fun and friendship.

BTW. I also managed to get a pic of Edsel Ford II standing next to my wife's 1978 Mustang II Rallye.

Rock on! That is a beautiful Cobra II. When I first got my II, we took it to this ford event. It was at this drive in theater, and they were showing Bullitt, it was for the 100th aniversery of ford. Anyway we showed up in my II, and the guys at the gate were like..we want to congradulate you for driving a mustang II. And I was like oh thanks..and later I found out that night, from a friend. "his dad is a mag writer and knows alot of big people at ford" Some of the ford guys made a bet that no mustang II's would show up. "mine was the only one there" So I guess someone lost a bet due to me! lol

HEY 77COBRAII, From the pic's I've seen of your car, I think they should just use your car on their home page indefinitely. You'd get car of the month every month! You've got one of the nicest, cleanest II's I've seen yet. :worship: :worship:

Who we are dealing with? Hmm, let's see... I know that I'm dealing with a guy who's passionate about Mustang IIs. I know that I'm dealing with a guy who's devoting a lot of time to a great web site, that's packed full of very usefull information. I know that I'm dealing with a guy who spends lots of time searching for new pictures, info, news, and anything else II related to bring to fellow enthusiasts. I know that I'm dealing with a guy who travels the country with his II to support IIs, Ford, and make a little noise for us II fans in a world that doesn't seem to support them too much.

Now I'm dealing with a worthless piece of ****, who has nothing better to do than to rip on other people's work, taste, cars, or pretty much anything else that doesn't "agree with you". I'm dealing with a guy who doesn't seem to support anything but himself. I see a guy who seems to hide in seclusion, and only come out when it's time to say something negative. I see a guy who has no problem pointing out things he doesn't like about other people's cars, but yet I can't ever recall seeing a picture of you or your own car. And I see a guy who seems to enjoy it when people like me say this kind of stuff about him, which is the saddest part of all.

Very rarely have I seen Wart chime in with the helpful advice or ecouraging word, and when he does he makes it seem like it's a chore and beneath him to do so.

I guess some people never learned that one life lesson from mom- "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it.......

After all this is an internet forum so all we know about the people is what we can read from thier posts, or the few that have had the opportunity to meet in person at places like Carlisle or other venues to get a better feel for a persons character.

If you have a personal vendetta against the guy so be it, the rest of us don't, and really don't need to know about it that's why they make pms or the ignore option.

Now hold up everyone...... there was this one time that he actually did help me with a problem.......I think it was a steering rack issue???

Of course, I didnt respond praising his infinite wisdom fast enough... so he became a dick shortly there after.

So, yeah, I guess I really do agree with ya'll. But the guy does know his stuff. . . sorry it has to be mixed with the miserable attitude.

lets all look at the title of this thread and remember its about the II that were here.

Its a known fact you cannot get along with everybody all the time let have alittle respect for people as human beings and not continue the slander just because everybody else does it.
