Have any of you had ANY luck with any of the below "type" products? One claims to be LIKE a chip or flash the other is the every popular tornado ripoff.

I know they dont do what they claim, but do they do ANYTHING?
Even 1hp or 1mpg?

E.g: See examples Below,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-Mustang-HP-Chip-94-95-96-97-98-99-00-01-02-03-04_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6755QQitemZ4590719145QQrdZ1

P.S Car changed, now drive all stock '04 GT 40th Ann.

If no, What are some of the cheaper add on's you have done and see "for the buck" results?

no and no

there are no cheap mods. you pay for what you get. a great starting point would be some 4.10s, o/r midpipe, catback of your choice, plenum, lowering springs and new shocks/struts.

Here's my take on the mod motor and parts. I used the average prices I've seen on the parts and the average HP increases I've seen listed from DYNO runs.
O/R mid @ 130 bucks might get 10-15 hp
plenum @ 200 bucks might get 7-10hp (stock ported @ 40 bucks 3-8hp)
Gears @ about 600 total installed without a speedcal no hp but is quicker
Nitrous @ 500-1000 50-150hp
FI @ 3-10K 100-??HP \
Heads @ 2k 80hp
cams @ 600 + install = 1-2k for 20-60hp
UD's @ 80-200 5-15hp
Tuner @ 200-1k depends on tuner and a dyno tune or not Hp seen it all over the place from 5hp-50hp
headers @ 200-1k depends on FL Shorthy etc. shorthies @5 hp FL @ 10 hp

I love the Tornadoe type thing. It pops up everywhere. It actually can hurt performance. Sorry you have to pay for performance. My best mod has been O/R H pipe with "cat back" exhaust system.

Just get one of these.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TURB...ewItemQQcategoryZ33742QQitemZ8015488685QQrdZ1

Theres no way in hell someone will see 80hp gain from heads and than 60 hp from cams.

Most people with heads, cams, long tubes with full exhaust, all bolt ons, tune, injectors, etc all together only see 60-90 hp increase. to the 290-320 rwhp range.

Hey Read the post. I said I took the averages from DYNO sheets I've seen posted. I've seen the VTstg2 at anywhere from 40-140+. patriots the same. So if you average it out maybe 80hp.
Also where do you see me saying by themselves. Seeing as how most people do the heads after everything else.
On the Cams I've seen dyno numbers as low as 20 hp and as high as 60hp. Don't believe me go do some research. Before you try busting heads.

This thread is not about cams it is about the turbonator and the resistor, both widely recognized and cheesy and ill-advised mods
