I have always thought mustangs were awsome, except for one flaw. their seats suck! what i am looking for is a lot more comfortable seat like a riccaro style that is a direct bolt in and it sits lower to the floor than the factory seats. if this is any help...i love the way the newer body style camaros and trans am seats are. any advice? thanks!

i agree and dislike the stock seats, but mainly for the fact they have no side bolstering. though, I really dislike the feel of the camaro/TA seats. as far as what you are looking for, there are the big 3 that you can look into: Corbeau, Recaro, and Sparco. these guys are the best in the biz. I will either be getting the sparco torino or the corbeau CR1 seats at some point in the future.

now there are lower cost alternatives. companies like Jegs, APC, Matrix, and a load of other companies make similer style seats. i will pay the extra money for the big 3 though. similer in style and feel, i dont trust them with this kind of safety. the big 3 are all sponcers and USED in the WRC cars, and with that kind of punishment i'll go on the same path. I dont want to chance getting into a crash and have something on the seat break and cause personal injury. so take your pick.

If you can afford Recaro's,get them. I have them in a Jeep Wrangler & would consider putting them in the Stang

I'm looking for the same type of seating, my brother's stock wrx seats sit really low and I like that, I'm prob getting some corbeau's or sparco's in this summer in the stang, I've been in a porsche race car and sitting in those seats while ripping down the street felt pretty good, they were corbeau's, I wouldn't trust the cheap imitations because they are targeted for honda civic drivers that want to pimp their rides, go with Sparco or Corbeau

Corbeau actually has some solid prices too compared to Sparco. Both the CR-1 and TRS are very cozy and I'm definitely considering buying a set of either to replace the stock seats in my GT.

I think this color would actually match better than some of the black seats on the market because the dark grey interior is much lighter than the black seats on the market today from what ive found. ive seen some stangs with the dark grey interior and black racing seats and it never looks too good imho.

well first thing, getting any new seat wil take out the power seat option. as far as height i dont know for sure, i have needed to put the money in other places. seats will come a bit later for me.
