Mustang Vs. Deer

Worst thing was this was supposed to be the first day of my new job. Heading out on 64W just outside of Franklin County. Was doing the speed limit. Worst part was I saw it coming and it was like the deer wanted to get hit. Dumb scared anmial.
I'd say the mustang won. Well, heck let's call it a draw. Anything that causes this kinda damage better be dead when I check on it. If not I would complete the deal.

For hitting a dear i would say you got off pretty good. The damage looks pretty minimal. Was it a small doe or a buck? When i hit a deer 2 years back in my winter beater, a 1982 buick lesabre (the thing was a ****in tank) it crinkled up my hood tuned the front end and smashed the lights. Mind you it was a big 6 point. Looks like your damage is only cosmetic.

Still sucks balls though especially at this time of year. At least youll have venesin for a while!

it was a small buck. only 5-6 hands high (aprox. 4-4 1/2") I thanked God after that because I got off very lucky.

Actually It was 4 ft to the shoulder. After it hit the windsheild it flew over my car without touching it again.

I always fear deer especially on these back curvy roads. Not the brightest animals in the world, they will be on the side of the road and when a car comes they will be spooked and jump right in front of the car. I had a real close call, on the hightway no less. About three deer jumped in front of my car and the last one I swear my front left headlight missed it by an inch at the most.

Thankfully, mustangs are easy and cheap to fix, and the damage is minimal. It still sucks though. When I went to yellowstone, I saw a Bronco that had hit a buffolo, it looked like it hit a brick wall.

Join the club, I killed one last year, had to replace the windshield and I still have to replace the hood. I can't ever seem to find deer in the woods with my gun, but the Mustang finds them anytime I drive at night!

That was exactly what I thought. Couldn't find a deer in the woods at all, yet can't help but hit one on the road they are so plentiful.

I hit a deer a couple years ago and your damage looks just like my damage only both my headlights were busted. I cried like a little girl. I'm sorry about your car...

Knowing my bad temper I'd have gotton out with my pocket knife and pulled Tom Green on it...

Of course if I had my Glock on me it might be different... I'd probably get out and pull a Bruce Willis on it...

Now if I were in your position and defenseless... I'd have pulled a Chuck Norris on it and ended with a "Tornado Kick" to the little bucks 'little buck'

Man that sucks. atleast the damage isn't THAT bad, although obviously it would've been better to have had NO damage but atleast its only cosmetic damage. Ay.. anyway +1 for no bent cowl panel
