I am looking to put a modular type engine in place of my 347,so I need to get rid of my shock towers in my 68.
I was told I can run mustang 2 suspension.
Has anybody done this or seen it done?
I have never seen a mustang 2 suspension set up.Can any show me some pictures?

I have a 70 Sportsroof that I am putting MII suspension in. I prefer Street Rod Engineering or Rod and Custom Motorsports kits. I have used them both and trust them. Since I am building a "Trans Am" appearing car to drive on the street and it will be lowered, I am going to use the 87-93 shorty unequal length headers. Every time I run long tube headers on these things, I end up flattening the two lower header tubes on each side. I don't know if this will work on the 67-68 but I have my engine setting in the car with the stock headers on it now. No problem.

I have installed quite a few of the Rod and Custom suspensions with bolth 302 and 351. On the 351 I used Hooker super comp 351 swap headers for fox body cars and they fit quite well. I did not have to dent flatten or mod the pipes at all the only mod I had to make was to notch the driver side frame rail a tiny bit where the number 8 pipe comes down and when I say a little it is minute.
