I finally got the car I've been after for 15 years. Only paid 1k for it. Original 6 cylinder car, its been converted to v8 and 5 lug. Engine is out of a 1978 ltd according to the casting numbers. Has a granda disc brake swap on the front which i am working on getting rid of due to the steering geometey being wrong.

The car sat outside under a tree for 10 years and never moved. Got it to my familys shop and in under an hour i had it running. It needs work but that doesn't scare me.

Hope to get lots of advice from the forums.

welcome the world of the 66 coupe. yours is better than mine, only because i have the engine out of mine, and the hood off.mine has been sitting for 30 years though in that condition due to no money or time.

Sweet!

I love starting a new project.

I've got a '66 6-cylinder I'll be converting over to V8 as a replica of my first car.

Hope yours goes well!

Hope it goes well for you as well, I'd advise against doing the granada front disc swap. Although it works, the steering geometry is all wrong. Im gonna be fixing that on mine as soon as I can

Thanks, it is pretty solid for sitting under q tree exposed to multiple hurricanes for ten years. And yes the bath made one hell of a difference.
