Hey guys. I finally did a writeup for my 2003 cobra project.

Its too fast for the streets. You blow the tires loose in 1st and 2nd every time you punch it.

damn you guys and your 03 Cobras...you can probably get more HP just thinking about it

so when are ya going to ditch that Eaton for a Kenne Bell ? Seems to be the thing to do lately.

Very nice #'s, and car. Do you happen to know the guy w/ the dark grey GT (or is it an anniversary Mach 1 ?) that is seen in the pic on the passenger side of your Cobra ? It looks like he has Weld Pro-Star XP's on his car ? If so I desperatley want pics of his car -
maybe you could pass along my request

sorry, just a bitter GT driver struggling to get to 300 rwhp N/A...the car is very nice

I got a buddy with an 03GT running 13 flat in the quarter mile with a naturally aspirated GT. with all bolt ons.
THAT IS FAST AS HELL MAN!!

Thanks for the link...any idea how far of a drive it would be to Mustang Magic from Boston?...I'm gonna be doing some work next year, and i've heard great things about them

its prob. around 4 hours without taking the ferry to port jeff long island.
With taking the ferry, 3 hours.

Nice write up and ride. I am surprised the tuner put that 2.8 on there without an idler At least you got it straightened out.

No. It was my idea to go with the 2.80 no idler, they all told me to go with the 3.0 pulley and that they dont believe in anything smaller than 2.93. I convinced them to try the 2.80 w/ no idler. And it roasted my gatorback. hheeh

oh well. i learned the hard way.

what kind of work are you looking to get done to the car?

4.10 gears, LTs, Prochamber, porting and polishing heads, cams, and suspension...hoping to be pushing 300 to the wheels after all is said and done.

Cams on a 2 valve to bad I can never make my car sound like that

Beautiful Cobra!

So are you going to put a roll cage in it? Once you start banging out those 11 second slips, tracks won't let you run unless they see some steel in that car.
