It seems the neighborhood squirrels have taken fancy to my sonic blue 05 mustang. During my 5k oil change I decided to inspect my air filter and below the filter was two hand fulls acorns cracked open and eatin already.
I see now that I may have to make some modification to the intake area, a screen of some sort.
That is too funny

i had this problem in the cowl of my 71. i hate critters. it rusted it out.....

Evidently even the squirrels recognize a fine car when they see one -at least they didn't scratch up your paint or chew your filter up, letting their acorn shells into your engine internals.

Maybe you need a pet snake to guard your car...

We got our share of snakes around here in florida. I'd prefer the squirrelies over snakes anyday.
