interesting looks good. Im building a 3link for my 65 falcon. but im going to use stock trunk and floors. i like your approach with the 8.8 rear end. have you seen the EVM setup?

thanks... i have been readin your posts on pro-touring.com. I think i'm gonna redo the panhard bar though so that it mounts behind the rear rather than above, what do you think?

yes, mount it behind. That way you can get your roll center lower. Also make it as lonng as possible and at ride height make it flat. Also look into a watts link. In theory they are better. But panhards work great.

Is there a reason you went with the approach you did? Since you gutted everything, I'm a little confused as to why you didn't run the link from the top of the axle like most other 3-links...

Also, what's the intended purpose for the car?

Agree on moving the panhard, it's not positioned really well at the moment.

< agree move the pan, lengthen and keep her flat when at ride height (dont forget to put your weight worth of something, in the drivers seat when you set it mounting point)

Also, (don't get me wrong, you have done a good job) you could do away with your Y bar for the top mounts and go to a single mounting point on top of the pumpkin...


Also dont forget to keep track of the instant center when figuring mounting points and lengths for the arms.

A wishbone and a panhard? Are you going to add a watt's link too?
