My $495.00 IC set up

Half of it is behind the bumper here too. Where is this getting air from? Besides the Procharger, Paxton, and anyother kit besides the BTI kit doesn't cut the bumper. By cutting the bumper if you get into an accident your insurance company can and probably will cancel your insurance.

Either way thet are both seeing the same air.

..How do see that? I don't have a big metal bumper less than a 1/4" in front of mine at the top. The Styrofoam on mine is cut out of mine and the bumper cover on mine is 3" away from the IC allowing for air to get to the top of it. Also my intercooler isn't right up on against the ac radiator allowing for flow out the back, air going in as to come out.

Very nice set up

My question is how the hell did you guys get the PS lines bent that much?

I had a hard time getting mine to bend a little to make it over the cooler, let a lone make a hard bend down and under the cooler.

I used a rag and pliers and made slow bends until there was clearance. also I had to weld beads on pipes and use t clamps instead of the worm clamps shown in pictures. I used 3" alum piping I bought off Ebay.

I guess i will have to try that. I just hate to kink a line.

what kinda bypass can i use? i'm going to try to fab up my intercooler in the next month or so, and i'm trying to find all the necessary parts. i guess i need a power pipe since my novi has a plastic pipe that i cant weld a fitting to. do you have to enlarge the hole in the r/f front fender for the i/c piping to run thru?

Vortech mini bypass or HKS with a recirculator adapter.

BTW Intercoolers by themselves don't add HP they actually steal boost. But they allow you to run a smaller pulley on a supercharger or more boost on a turbo. The air going into the intake would be so hot it would cause a loss of power and detonation without it.

the reason intercoolers allow you to make more power is because they allow you to use more timing. you can add an intercooler to a car without changing the pulley and gaine a good 35-40rwhp just because you can run more timing.
