My 65 project car

Since I've been asking so many questions about what works and what doesnt work, I figured I should post some pics of the car that I'm putting all your response to use in:



Heres the engine combo: DSS 331 stroker. Forged pistons, rods, crank. 10.5-1 compression, AFR 185s, edelbrock air gap, Hooker Lt's are in the garage. Still need a good carb to match.

My vin codes for a inch rear with 3.20 gears..But this car has been a bit of a orphan and most of the history got lost before I got to it. Heres a pic of the rear. Still an 8 inch?

Looking good

and yep, that's an 8". See how flat the bottom is, and that you can get a socket on the two lower nuts. You may or may not need to upgrade depending on transmission, tire adhesion, and type of driving. You certainly will be pushing the torque threshold with that sweet little stroker motor.
