Well, after a few days with fiberglass, bondo, paint, and tweed, here is what my dash now looks like. Let me know what you think.

I think your craftmanship is very good. It looks like very nice work. The gages are SOOO pretty!!

The blue tweed - it's not to my taste. Very original concept, though.

Maybe if I saw it with the rest of the interior I would have a different opinion, I don't know.

Oil and water will probably wind up where the Volts and gas are now. Then the Volts and Gas will go down under the heater controls in yet another custom panel.

As far as the turn indicators, and brights goes...I haven't decided yet. I may just leave them out all together, or maybe make something custom for the steering column.

Yea, well I have never done fiberglass before, so we should all be surprised that it even worked.

The entire car is dechromed. My seats are in black leather and that blue tweed. All the woodgrained appointments in the car were covered in the tweed. Everything that was chrome is now either metallic silver paint, or blacked out.

Also that color of tweed is almost dead on with the color of the car itself.

So are you going to learn how to do carbon fiber next?

I admit, the tweed threw me off at first, but once you see it with the interior (even in pieces) it looks a lot better.

Pretty much the same thing I get if I try to log on to a pron site or anything else that is restricted.
